Crafted in France in the late 19th century, these Rococo-style jardinières feature hand-painted scattered floral decoration accented by rich aubergine trim, scrolling handles, and graceful molded feet. Their sculptural form and vibrant decoration make them exceptional decorative accents for a mantel, dining table, console, or bookshelf.

The undersides retain their original hand-painted Saint-Clément marks.

Whether displayed with orchids, seasonal greenery, or simply enjoyed as standalone works of art, these antique French cachepots are increasingly difficult to find as a matching pair.

Condition:
Very good antique condition. No cracks or repairs. One jardinière has a few small areas of enamel loss and minor edge chipping consistent with age. Please review all photographs, as they are part of the description.
