Scalloped Horse Brass Medallion with Figural Motif and Inscribed Dates

A distinctive circular horse brass medallion featuring a scalloped border and a central V-shaped design with a male figure. The lower portion bears the dates 1874–1965 along with an additional inscription that is difficult to decipher. The figure’s identity has not been confirmed.

Its decorative outline and intriguing details make it an appealing addition to a horse brass collection. Display it on a small easel or incorporate it into a wall grouping for a touch of traditional English country character.

The inscribed dates are part of the design and do not establish when the piece was made.
