Antique Staffordshire Victorian Pottery Courting Couple Staffordshire Flatback English Figurine

An elegant antique ironstone plate in the “Peruvian” pattern by J. Wedgwood. The romantic landscape features exotic architecture, terraces, and figures, framed by an intricate floral and lattice border. A rich black-to-mulberry transfer gives the scene depth and beautifully highlights its fine detail.

Lovely displayed on a wall, styled in a Welsh dresser, or layered into a collection of English transferware.
