Antique Pitcairns Limited “Blemdon” Green Transferware Platter — 15”

Delicate green transfer decoration gives this late Victorian platter an elegant botanical charm. Made by Pitcairns Limited at the Pinnox Pottery Works in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England, circa 1894–1901, the “Blemdon” pattern features a central floral bouquet surrounded by scrolling cartouches and floral garlands tracing the oval rim.

The teal-to-sage green palette pairs beautifully with creamware, silver, and other antique transferware. At 15 inches long, this platter makes a lovely focal point on a sideboard, displayed in a kitchen dresser, or incorporated into a plate wall.
